50TH ANNIVERSARY SUCCESS REPORTS
As 2014 draws to a close, we release a report on the collective successes of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act. Another key outcome, signed at the National Wilderness Conference is 2020 Vision, the federal agencies' plan for the future of wilderness.

NEW WILDERNESS DESIGNATED FOR THE 50TH
The recently-enacted Defense Authorization Act added over 244,000 acres of wilderness in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada and Washington, including the first new wilderness acreage in Montana in over 30 years.
